Everything was simply well-maintained. The room we had included a personal safe, an air conditioning, and an electronic key card. The location was amazing right next to the Funicular that takes you straight into the centre of Naples for 1euro and the staff here was exceptionally kind and super-friendly...

Hotel was to a very high standard, very close to transport links, great shops, great gelato!! Very nice staff. I didn't have the breakfast so cant comment on it, but was very happy with the standard of my room and the staff were very nice and helpful.

The breakfast with local cake was delicious. the hotel has a particularly good location for Naples, close to transport, eating places, and the "funicolare" cable car. - It is also near a metro station.

people, the food, the design of the hotel

the lift should be bigger, entrance gate should be more user friendly at night.

If you are planning to stay in Naples (Napoli) the Hotel Cimarosa is brillantly located. Up on the hill in Volmero it is away from the seedier side of Naples with its own evening shopping and cafe district. It is a 15 min light rail trip to the centre of downtown Naples and cost a few euro. The initial trip in the taxi from Napoli Centrale cost about 30 euros and I was initially concerned but then we found out about the light rail/cable car and this made our travel quite easy. I would recommend getting the taxi to get up there at first as the light rail station is tricky to find. The hotel is on the 5th floor up a traditional small lift. It is clean and the rooms are modern. The front desk service is excellent and the breakfast is well stacked tradtional Italian: cereal, fruit, yogurt, and a variety of Italian cakes and pastries. I am not sure that this would be a good choice if you had a number of children but for a couple it was perfect. This seems to be a popular place for Italian business people to stay. I would stay here again on a visit to Naples.
